Have you ever wondered what you'll be doing by the time you're 80? Will you be in a nursing home, traveling the world, or helping your children take care of their kids at home? Probably for most people, being 80 means nothing but aging. Life will be simple and peaceful, and they will no longer try new things. But for designer Hu Sheguang's fashion army, 80 years of age means fulfilling his youthful dream, to strut down the runway as a fashion model.

Bai Ruizhi, 82, is a veteran national team volleyball player. She was born and raised in an era of frugality. In her prime, she had only three sets of clothes in her wardrobe, which she wore alternately throughout the year. After retiring in 1990, she started a new career in the fashion show industry. The 53-year-old was not imprisoned by her age, and she decided to seize this opportunity to realize her dream. Since then, she has become a model.

In 2018, Bai Ruizhi met Hu Sheguang and became a member of his fashion army. In this model team, there are children from the ages of 7 or 8 to senior citizens in their 80s. Because Hu Sheguang believes that time has no limit and fashion has no sense of age, he hopes that women of any age can blossom on stage and showcase their charm. Since then, Bai Ruizhi became an active player in shows at International Fashion Week. When she gracefully walks on the runway, no one can imagine that this model, who's carrying her slender figure effortlessly, is already 80 years old.
